Character education in the digital era faces severe challenges in the form of students' moral degradation due to gadget distractions, thus requiring a strengthening fortress from religious-based educational institutions. This study aims to describe and analyze the implementation of Strengthening Character Education (PPK), the obstacles and solutions, and the results achieved in shaping students' discipline and responsibility at MI Al-Islam Jetis Village, Madiun Regency. This research employed a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with the principal, teachers, students, and parents, as well as participatory observation and documentation. The data analysis technique used Miles and Huberman's interactive model, including data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. Data validity was tested through source and technique triangulation. The results showed that: (1) PPK implementation is carried out through religious habituation strategies such as hour 0 activities (murotal and Asmaul Husna), congregational prayers, integration of values in learning, and teacher modeling. (2) The factors while the main obstacles are digital distraction (gadgets) and lack of consistency in home supervision. The solution involves optimizing the communication book (buku penghubung) and persuasive digital literacy. (3) The implementation results indicate mature value internalization, where students demonstrate domestic independence and the emergence of moral feeling in the form of shame when breaking rules. The conclusion of this study emphasizes that synergy between the madrasah and the family through consistent control media is the key to successful character education.
