ABSTRACT Hunna Dhuhriyatun Mucha. 2026. “Implementation of Learning Motivation and Discipline in Al-Qur’an Hadith Subjects for Students of the Olympiad Innovation Class (V.C) at MIN 2 Madiun City.” Thesis. Master’s Program in Islamic Religious Education, Postgraduate Program of Postgraduate Program. Sunan Giri Islamic Institute Ponorogo. Advisor I: Dr. Zainul Arifin, M.SI., Advisor II: Dr. Hj. Fitri Wahyuni, M.S.I. Al-Qur'an Hadith subjects in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah play a crucial role in shaping students’ religious literacy and spiritual character. In specialized classes such as the Olympiad Innovation Class, students are often faced with dense learning loads, making them vulnerable to academic burnout and a decline in daily discipline. This study aims to analyze the implementation process, identify obstacles and solutions, and evaluate the extent of the results achieved from the implementation of learning motivation and discipline in Al-Qur'an Hadith subjects in the Olympiad Innovation Class (V.C) at MIN 2 Madiun City. This study utilized with a qualitative-descriptive approach through an intrinsic case study design. Quantitative questionnaire data collection was distributed via census to a total sampling of 35 students of Class V.C, while qualitative data were obtained through in-depth interviews with the Headmaster, the Homeroom Teacher, the Al-Qur'an Hadith Teacher, and three supporting student informants. Quantitative data analysis techniques utilized descriptive assistance from Microsoft Excel, while qualitative data applied the interactive model of Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña, which includes data condensation, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that: (1) The implementation process was carried out integratively through managerial policies of daily tahfidh character building for Juz 30, daily verbal continuous reinforcement combined with worship control books by the homeroom teacher, and modification of teaching methods based on gamification (quizzes and group competitions) and a two-rukuh muroja'ah obligation by the subject teacher. (2) The obstacles faced were dual-barriers, including internal factors in the form of students' academic burnout and external factors in the form of excessive screen time at home. The solutions applied were flexible guidance schedule rotation policies, humanistic personal counseling, and optimization of the class WhatsApp group as a collaborative control tool between teachers and parents. (3) The program's results showed highly significant success, proven by the questionnaire results (82.85% of students had high motivation and 88.57% of students had high discipline) as well as report card documents with a class average reaching 91,5. This study successfully validated a Positive Linearity Pattern, in which students at the peak of science olympiad achievements were proven to possess the most established consistency of depth in spiritual discipline in the madrasah. Keywords: Implementation, Motivation, Learning Discipline, Al-Qur'an Hadith, Olympiad Class.
