ABSTRACT Agus Sumaryono. 2026. “The Implementation of Islamic Educational Values in Enhancing Religious Character at the Darusyafa’ah Majelis Taklim in Wonoasri Village Madiun Regency.” Thesis. Master’s Program of Islamic Religious Educaon. Advisors: (1) Dr. K.H. Mustofa, M.Ag., (2) Dr. Arik Dwijayanto, M.A. The purposes of this study are to: (1) analyze the process of instilling Islamic religious values at the Majelis Taklim Darusyafa’ah, (2) evaluate the impact of religious implementation on improving the quality of the congregants' religiosity, and (3) identify the supporting and inhibiting factors in that process.". This study employed a descriptive qualitative approach with a single intrinsic case study design. Data collection was carried out through moderate participant observation, semi-structured in-depth interviews, and qualitative documentation. Informants were selected using a purposive sampling technique combined with snowball sampling, involving as the key informant, daily administrators, active congregants, and community leaders of Wonoasri Village. Data analysis applied the interactive model of Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña, encompassing data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The trustworthiness of the data was ensured through source triangulation, technique triangulation, prolonged engagement, and member check. The results of the study indicate that: (1) The process of internalizing religious values operates in a circular-cultural manner through three stages of internalization (Krathwohl & Muhaimin): cognitive transformation based on classic Islamic texts (kitab salaf), affective transaction through dialogic spaces and communal rituals, and psychomotor trans-internalization driven by the exemplary behavior (uswah hasanah) of the leader. (2) The religious implementation successfully enhances the quality of congregants' religiosity holistically across five dimensions (Glock & Stark) integrated within the pillars of Iman, Islam, and Ihsan. In the consequential dimension, congregants' religiosity manifests as a tangible attitude of Religious Moderation (Wasathiyah), characterized by high tolerance (tasamuh) and village social cohesion. (3) The main supporting factors include the charismatic authority of Ustadz and the social capital of rural togetherness, while the inhibiting factors include physical fatigue from the agrarian sector and digital media disruption, which is effectively reduced through local digital counter-da'wah strategies. This study formulates a new theoretical model termed the “Rural Cultural Religiosity Internalization Model”, proving that religious moderation at the grassroots level can be autonomously generated as a natural product of moral maturity derived from deep value internalization.
